Just studying some Keane ‘cuz I’ve been in an art block and needed to get back to brass tacks. Naturally I can’t even touch the master, but it forces me to climb out of my rut! Rapunzel’s face is from a Keane sketch but I had to make up the rest of the body :P

I bet exactly none of you know who this is! This is Fallon, from a children’s television series that aired in the 90s called “Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders” (apparently Gwen’s name was changed to “Starla” in the UK?). It’s actually a really cheesy show but I loved it when I was little and had the dolls, which were more like action figures than fashion dolls and had multi-colored unicorns and pegasi. ALSO, jewels that gave them magical powers, which is a theme I am obsessed with thanks to this show and Sailor Moon. Anyway, I think it had/has a lot of potential and I wish they’d re-boot it. It could be awesome, it really could. On the off-chance that anyone out there does know this show, I combined Fallon’s “dress” with her dragon-skin cloak of invisibility because…well, it’s a cloak of invisibility. Made of dragon skin. <— On my X-Mas list, tbh.

Welp, finally jumped on this bandwagon :P. My Sugar Rush racer, featuring a yukimidaifuku hat, sour gummi worm hair, crepe dress (I forgot to draw filling, d&#8217;oh), and pie shoes. Instead of a car I made a Pop-Tart hoverboard with Pirouette jets because I love Pop-Tarts so I just had to include it.
